Email Delivery Troubleshooting
Diagnose and fix email delivery issues.
Check Email Status
- Go to Videos in your dashboard
- Find the video
- Check the Email Status column
Email Statuses
| Status | Description | Action |

pending | Queued for sending | Wait |
sent | Successfully delivered | Check recipient inbox |
opened | Recipient opened email | Engagement tracked |
bounced | Delivery failed | Check email address |
spam | Marked as spam | Review content |
Common Issues
Email Not Received
Check these in order:
- Spam/Junk folder - Most common issue
- Email address - Verify it’s correct
- Email logs - View delivery status
- Domain reputation - May be blocked
Email Bounced
Types of bounces:

|---|---|---|
| Hard bounce | Invalid email | Remove from list |
| Soft bounce | Mailbox full | Retry later |
| Block bounce | Rejected by server | Check reputation |
Marked as Spam
Common causes:
- No prior relationship with recipient
- Spam trigger words in subject/content
- Poor sender reputation
- Missing unsubscribe link
Fixes:
- Warm up your sending domain
- Review email content
- Add clear unsubscribe option
- Authenticate your domain (SPF/DKIM)
Domain Authentication
SPF Record
Add to your DNS:
v=spf1 include:_spf.leadwarmer.net ~allDKIM Record
Add the CNAME provided in Settings:
leadwarmer._domainkey.yourdomain.com -> dkim.leadwarmer.netDMARC Record
Optional but recommended:
v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:dmarc@yourdomain.comEmail Content Issues
Subject Line Best Practices
Do:
- Keep under 50 characters
- Personalize with name
- Create curiosity
Don’t:
- Use ALL CAPS
- Include spam words (FREE, ACT NOW)
- Use excessive punctuation!!!
Body Content
Do:
- Clear, professional tone
- Personalized greeting
- Clear call-to-action
- Include unsubscribe link
Don’t:
- Excessive images
- Too many links
- Misleading content
- Missing physical address
Email Preview
Test emails before sending:
- Go to Campaigns > Your Campaign
- Click Preview Email
- Send test to yourself
Delivery Logs
View detailed logs:
- Settings > Email > Logs
- Filter by status, date, recipient
- View full delivery details
