Email Delivery Troubleshooting

Diagnose and fix email delivery issues.

Check Email Status

  1. Go to Videos in your dashboard
  2. Find the video
  3. Check the Email Status column

Email Statuses

Common Issues

Email Not Received

Check these in order:

  1. Spam/Junk folder - Most common issue
  2. Email address - Verify it’s correct
  3. Email logs - View delivery status
  4. Domain reputation - May be blocked

Email Bounced

Types of bounces:

Marked as Spam

Common causes:

  1. No prior relationship with recipient
  2. Spam trigger words in subject/content
  3. Poor sender reputation
  4. Missing unsubscribe link

Fixes:

  1. Warm up your sending domain
  2. Review email content
  3. Add clear unsubscribe option
  4. Authenticate your domain (SPF/DKIM)

Domain Authentication

SPF Record

Add to your DNS:

v=spf1 include:_spf.leadwarmer.net ~all

DKIM Record

Add the CNAME provided in Settings:

leadwarmer._domainkey.yourdomain.com -> dkim.leadwarmer.net

DMARC Record

Optional but recommended:

v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:dmarc@yourdomain.com

Email Content Issues

Subject Line Best Practices

Do:

  • Keep under 50 characters
  • Personalize with name
  • Create curiosity

Don’t:

  • Use ALL CAPS
  • Include spam words (FREE, ACT NOW)
  • Use excessive punctuation!!!

Body Content

Do:

  • Clear, professional tone
  • Personalized greeting
  • Clear call-to-action
  • Include unsubscribe link

Don’t:

  • Excessive images
  • Too many links
  • Misleading content
  • Missing physical address

Email Preview

Test emails before sending:

  1. Go to Campaigns > Your Campaign
  2. Click Preview Email
  3. Send test to yourself

Delivery Logs

View detailed logs:

  1. Settings > Email > Logs
  2. Filter by status, date, recipient
  3. View full delivery details
